Managing attachement/files

There is somethign really wrong with usability of this new UI.
I wanted to post an image in one of my post.I used attachment and uploaded file from my desktop and it worked fine.
Now when I am trying to post same image in another post ..When I click on Upload button it says that image is already posted. How can I post same image at 2 places.

one dumb way is to change the name of file and then upload it again. But there has to be other way too.

you can use the same attachment in many threads, PM or journals.

– use the [ATTACH] tag for that purpose.
– then add the attachment ID into it (which is a 3 or 4 digit number)
– close the tag useing [/ATTACH]

this is an attachment I uploaded, posted in another thread. Posting it here again using the attachment ID (which is 553 in this case)

How do I know what is the attachment id for my attachment.
Also , In your case it is just a link..Image doesnt show up in ur post.

ok..I have to check my old image’s url and get attachmentids from there.
why is it so complicated?
Old one was better.

Gizzy, can you please enact a separate rule that says a "Tiranga" can only be posted once in 2 months, or something.
