Hi folks,
Does anyone have any suggestions for managed VPS hosting providers? I’m specifically interested in Windows based hosting to allow me more flexibility to run .NET in addition to php and mysql stuff.
This is for a few websites that I manage… all are low traffic sites, so bandwidth and storage aren’t an issue.

Recently I purchased one from 1and1 for a site. I also moved the domain with them. Their price is right and super easy to manage.
Don't go for a private server unless you really want it i.e. want to install custom software etc etc. Just get the managed hosting.

I have done business with 1and1 in the past and have found them to be better.

The reason I'm thinking about VPS instead of shared hosting is because I've been burned a couple of times not having control over apps installation and removal. With shared hosting, it can take a couple of days to get things resolved since you don't have admin privileges to control the process.

LC, why not use Amazon Webservices? They are pretty reasobly priced and you can turn off servers when not in use. Another option is RackSpace. Dependable stuff.
