I dont know bout rules of this tournament but usually for Man of the Match final performance doesnt count as most teams dont reach finals!

the tv guys suggest either pathan or jaysuria....
i wud prefer malik above all....
he has been 'special' and has stood out in the whole series....
except that one unfortunate runout....
i mean that guy has been MoM in 3 matches in the series....

Shoaib Malik, Irfan Pathan or Tendulkar will get it. It also depends on how the final goes for the leading contenders.
The points system. Nothing has had greater impact on this tournament than the ridclous points system. So without a doubt the man of the series should be the point system.
Shoaib Malik must be the leading contender so far as he has won 2 MoM awards. His only handicap will be that the others will get to play an extra match but as it stands he's probably in the lead.
