Article don’t say woman made DNA. We all know men lead, women follow. But that would be a topic for another thread.

Scientists have created two additions to the normal genetic code. Synthetic biology. Trying to perfect alternative genetic codes with up to 12 DNA characters. Bacteria incorporated these pieces of man made DNA will few ill effects. To help the bacteria along, they were fed a strain of Escherica coli.

This can be used to make drugs to cure diseases.

They made DNA.. as in organic synthesis DNA, or they genetically engineered an existing set of DNA to meet their requirements?

I am waiting for the day when they can take DNA, rip it off any genetic defects, and reintroduce into mother's system to give birth to babies without any medical issues.
