I agree, the response in 12 is lame.

I paid the gas station for gas once and drove off without filling the gas. I went back in the evening to see if the guy still remembered, he said that was the first time anyone had done that so he wouldn;t be forgetting any time soon

Errrrm, how do you pay for the gas without filling it into the car? I mean how did you know how much you had to pay?
