A news published in a local newspaper thought to ask a question related to it, that “what is the ruling if a human had sex with an animal, according to the various religions?” Here is the news article:

Islamically the one who does it is to be killed.
The Prophet (saw) said “Whoever has intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal with him.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 2420; Abu Dawood, 4464; al-Tirmidhi, 1454; al-Haakim, 4/355).

I think there is an explanation about ‘why to kill the animal?’ I guess a companion of Prophet PBUH was asked.

My apologies if i am wrong but i thought there it is there in some ruling that when you have intercourse with an animal then you cannot eat it. instead kill it, cut it and sell it to near village or something.

Well, I didn’t say having a girlfriend for that purpose is ok. I just said that a girlfriend is BETTER for that purpose than an animal. That will be a more natural act.
Many people will probably even sympathize with him for being punished for it.

Well first of all let me make it clear for others, i am in no way trying to disrespect islam or its teaching. I always think twice before commenting on any religions and i only say things because either i have read them or heard them.
On topic, i am very positive i read this piece somewhere from iran that khomani had some ruling about what i mentioned. I dont know if what i read was just a propoganda or hate material. but it must have been good source cuz i dont just trust any source.
I will ask my iranian friend to find me the facts about it.
I find it very odd but it is hardly surprising when you hear about intimate relations between human and animals coming from arabs and middle east. i always take it as their cultural thing.

I believe, the ruling to kill the animal was Ali (ra) opinion it is not from hadith of the prophet (saw).

Pardon me I didn’t meant in anyway to sound rude. When I asked about Iran because I never heard before. I haven’t came across a hadith which support this and tell what exactly its says what to do in this situation. However I found these info while searching on net.
Book 38, Number 4450: Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: There is no prescribed punishment for one who has sexual intercourse with an animal.
Book 38, Number 4449: Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone has sexual intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill it along with him. I (Ikrimah) said: I asked him (Ibn Abbas): What offence can be attributed to the animal/ He replied: I think he (the Prophet) disapproved of its flesh being eaten when such a thing had been done to it.
I’m not clear about the order of kill both or else.

There is no place of bestiality in Islam irrespective of what xyz said or wrote in their books. I don't understand why Islam becomes soft target in every damn thing. Try to search on bestiality brothels. you will see a number of countries have actually justified bestiality by legalizing it. None of these countries are muslim countries. Could you pls tell me which religion do these sickos belong to? Islam cannot be judged by acts of a few retards. If this is the criteria then 'others' will have a hell of tough time defending their ideologies.
