**Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has confirmed the club will contest the Football Association’s improper conduct charge against Emmanuel Adebayor.**The charge relates to Adebayor’s actions in running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal supporters after scoring.
The Togo international, 25, later apologised for his actions.
The striker has already been suspended for three matches for violent conduct during the match, which City won 4-2.
Adebayor, who chose to accept will miss Sunday’s trip to Manchester United and home games against Fulham - in the Carling Cup - and West Ham.
