I am not that much of a movies or series person, more into reading books but see every now and then something. So watched the first episode of Ozark, and the main guy reminded me of similar characters in movies and some series. It kind of gives an impression that a meek, unassertive, nice guy gets cheated on (inaddition to trampled upon by others).
Is such stereotyping, a factor in crimes which in east are termed “honour related” and in West termed as “crimes of passion” ?
Is such stereotyping common in media or not?
