Lussi I know this male gyno and he says he has seen them all, I wonder at times is that why he is still not married

I don't usually feel comfortable having a male doctor check me if I have a "personal" problem..Hmm, I don't exactly know what I'll do but I think the gender of male or female won't matter at that time because I won't be seeing them. In US hospitals they have this curtain to prevent the patient from seeing the doctor operating on them. It can be anybody you know!

i am more comfortable with female doctors period. my physician is a female doc and when the time comes i'd prefer female gyn doc as well. :)

well Fret if your an OB then yeah u have a choice, I mean we have seen some werid stuff in the past but all is all you know ;)

My mom had a male gyne and she was fine with it.

I prefer a female-its all a bit embarrassing as it is, I would just feel more comfortable with a female

This is quite interesting - most women i've talked to prefer the male gyno, and I do too. Its hard to explain.

umm i will prefer female gynecologist over male.. but it depends on situation.. if none of the female doc is available then i will hav to go for men.. and i dun think i will care about this issue.... dun knwo what islam says about this.. cuz doctor is doctor, it doesnt matter if they are male or female...

but i will have my husband to decide what he wants to do in this situation..

btw.. what do u think Islam has said about this... is it gunnah to hav male gynecologist cuz of bein namehram first n doctor last?

While IMO its totally ok to have a male doctor. But whats the reason for prefering one.

i think i'd be ok with it..

this is kinda different.. but i have a huge keloid on my chest.. well jsut below my neck.. and ive had it since i was like 11.. since the age of 13 ive been having treatment done to it.. and its always been a male..

i mean when they make u wear the patient gown, and take u into the theatre.. nothing matters.. they've seen bodies before.. urs wouldnt be nethnig new..

my mama had a problem with it as she saw me once after id come outta the theatre.. and there was pretty much nothing on me except for a blanket.. makes u think doesnt it.. docs can do nething... but aaah well..

an aunt of mine said.. when ur in labor.. u dont care who touches u.... u just want the baby out!! hehehe
