Are they really mostly gay? Do you think fashion designing for women’s wear can be a heterosexual man’s job?
We have so many male designers in Pakistan, and truthfully, I’m not in tune with their sexual lives, but at least most of your tailors and fabric designers (ttextile industry), etc seem fairly heterosexual. In fact, go shopping for Kapra (raw cloth) and its men who sell them. Its so fun to talk to them, because they’re not your average chauvinist males, since they deal with women so much, and they speak to women like they’re equals. I don’t know, in Pakistan it seem’s like a job that a hetero could be comfortable with.
If you had the talent, would you feel secure enough to go into designing?
You mean to say that only those guys who are selling trousers and shirts for men
are the men and rest are, kind of problematic piece. point to ponder, i`ll tell you later what i think about this .
I don't think most of our male designers r gay (though ofcourse there r some who r) but since fashion/arts has been more of a girls area of studies, these guys are surrounded by 90% of girls around while studying these art subjects and pick up alot of their traits. Hence, end up acting or looking gay.
If i were a male, or say if some male from my family was to adopt this field i would be very happy as its a very creative and interesting field.
How can male fashion designers become gay or act like gays in the fashion industry when they have such hot models around them? I was thinking the same thing PCG when i was watching Fashion earlier in the morning.
