Do you girls prefer a clean shave, light stubble, mustache of the large variety, mustache of the manicured variety, beard, pencil thin beard, or goatee?

depends on the guy really. i don’t mind anything as long as it suits.
my husband looks way too young and boyish clean shaven. i much prefer a light beard a la ben hill.

^Ditto, I like the facial hair to be exactly like that Ben Hill guy. Totally clean-shaven looks prepubescent and weird to me and a full beard looks like a...caveman.

I always thought of the scruffy looked ungroomed and would give the appearance of a lazy unkempt guy.

I usually go for the rough look. I can guess my beard grows in a clean way. So, never gets too trashy. I get more attention with it too..
