Economically speaking we need to have our own food chains, but that doesen't mean we start harassing the MNC's. Everybody is open to compete. If they come up something of equally good quality, then people will happily leave American food chains.
Maulvis haven't got anything better to do so I guess this is how they make themselves look useful.
UTD: “Do in rome as the romans do” u must have heard this , ur western laws cannot be applied every where . Laws are passed for the masses , and majority of men probably in the whole of pakistan would go to watch female sport just for one and only one reason.
Its something like goras dont eat chappaties with every meal of theres and pakistanis dont cook sunday roast every sunday.
learn to understand diverse differences in culture / mentality / social structures and traditions.
Spock. i am sorry to say but u lack logic completely, stop stereotyping. There is allot of talent in NWFP. Fraudia is quite right :k: . This will give an oppertynity for girlz to come forward.
btw here is a girl from NWFP.
Khan, 20, is the granddaughter of Azam Khan, the four-time British Open champion from 1959 to 1962.

Dont give them ideas. The only reason guys watch female "sports" is because of the short skirts. Tell me one guy that watchs female tennis for the love of the game?
Edit: On the issue at hand. Idiotic move. Tell me how many woman coach? Move step forward walk 3 steps back.

Its not a question of a good thing happening, but its a point of whether or not the MMA types bluff can now be called. Do I really think they will provide more facilities to girs for sports and atheletics? NO, I doubt it, but private sector like it has done on almost every other front will probably try to do something. If there are attempts to block that then these mma types will not be able to hide. which means that they will face more opposition.
Pakaroy, she is not truely from NWFP... She was born, raised, trained in England, and she has a British mom I think... Although I admire her for her desire to play for Pakistan, you should realize that she has a motive behind that. And another thing, please read carefully, where did I say the women from that region lack talent. I just said not alot of them are into sports...
Spock janni
her father is from NWFP. Its like asking an american girl whose father was american (gora) , she holds an american passport , that if ur mom wasnt american u cant be ?????????
khair ....nevermind
secondly I have given up on seeking ulterior motives in ppls thinking so I have no clue.. but if u know any deep rooted ulterior motive she is pursueing please do enlighten us.
BTW.... pakora I Think,,,,,,is more interested in Chaplie kababs then in Carla khan ;)

poodna jaan...
My point was not that women from NWFP are talentless, I never said that... What I said was, they are not into sports, due to how they are brought up, and how the society is like over there. Carla Khan lived in a society which thrives on women's rights, so its easy for them to get into sports, but in NWFP its not...
Btw, if you really want to know why Carla wanted to play for Pakistan (and she was denied) goto khel khilari and search for that thread, you will find out, with an authenticated news source. Hope this answers your question, and oh yes, its not my thinking, its a fact.
