Ms Cat, I’ve said this before so I’m sorry to be repetitive…but children are inherently mean and attack those who are different. If you send a child with a name like say Abdullah into a classroom full of Johns, Sams, Toms and Harrys then guess what…your little boy will be tortured. Thats a sad fact of life. Just like I would not send my child to school in a suit and tie if the other kids are wearing t-shirts and jeans, I would not name my child a name that would make them a target of mean-ness. If it were THAT important to me, I’d move my family somewhere else…but then, you know you just have to seek to find … there ARE names that can and do fit in, lovely names to be proud of, no matter where you live. There should be no shame in looking for a lovely name to fit in with lifestyle, culture, background and - yes - fitting in to the society that you choose to live in.

and madam, i have told you before that these things are character building…

you are doing your children a favour.
people just pamper their kids nowadays…its not right:mad:
