I am reading some of his speeches. A fiery orator. What I am reading does not give much insight in why he became a Muslim and his breakup with ‘Nation of Islam’. What analysis u have of that or overall black and Muslim movement in USA.
I saw the movie with Denzel Washington and he became a muslim after he went to jail with his friend for being pimps and sleeping with white women. In jail he met up with a member of the Nation of Islam and he inspired him to join the Nation. After being in a nation for a while he went to do Hajj in Mecca/Medina. In Medina he saw people from every race, not just blacks, praying to the same God, and following the same prophet. He also saw a white guy there so it really changed his views.
