…must be one of God’s many gifts on earth. These things are delicious… has anyone had them? No i don’t have a recipe. They’re ahem found in the frozen section of your local desi store. :o Okay it’s a cop-out, but i tried googling for the recipe and was unable to find it. i don’t have any Malaysian friends whom i could harass either. So, at least for NOW, the frozen pre-packaged will have to do.
It’s delicious…so fluffy, so light… if you guys haven’t tried it, do try it. You Torontonians - check out your local desi stores’ frozen section for them. Should be available there. Should be widely available in the US.
They’re really really good… has anyone tried them?
They r made of white flour and thats the only thing that makes me think twice about them. They r absolutely yummy though…warm, fluffy with some butter on top
First I’ve ever heard of them. Only frozen parathas we get here are the Shaan ones which are definitely desi. I didn’t know Malaysians ate parathas. I’ve a feeling they have just hijacked one of our staple delicacies very recently and very slyly…the b&*^%$£s
Parathay are so pre-stoneage. Aajkal tau sheermaal kaa daur hay... Man-o-Salwa kay hoN yaa Dawn kay, hotay baRRay mazedaar hain.
Yeah, I don't like anything that's pure maida. Pait may jaaker golay bun jaatay hain and very hard to digest and their exit ain't anything to write home about either. You should look into 'Vegi's' Original paratha. They use whole wheat. The paratha may not be as fluffy but it sure tastes good with a fried anDa.
i have no clue what they are Nadia...can you tell the brand name please..
i am one of those people who lovvvvvvvvvve researching everything..and i do check all the everyday stores and desi stores sections with keen interest..i have yet to find a malaysian paratha..
the way people are explaining it..it sounds something like shana paratha.
