The only reason Malala is being raised a hero is because it fits the wests political agenda and scores them more points against the taliban.

The support for troops in afghanistan is waning, and their morale is pretty low, so this story came just about the right time.

This is nothing about afghani human rights or education from the western political point of view. They are simply being used as pawns, and will be dumped when it suits them.

That being said; malalas father also used the opportunity to simply protect the family, as any father would.

Returning home when you are a direct target is simply foolish as well as suicidal. Sure she can return to pakistan, but she cant do much if shes dead or restricted in her choices, due to security.

But, the father did say initially that they would be returning to pak soon after treatment, so who knows, perhaps they only plan on staying for the 5 years..?

I don’t think Malala should come back to Pakistan. Pakistan doesn’t deserve Malala’s they deserve Ehsan Ullah Ehsan’s.

I am thankful to her though for highlighting swat’s taleban when we were sleeping, and again when she was attacked. Their mentality came into the open as to how some people can use Quran and Hadith to justify criminality.
