Americans have been telling Pakistan to attack the Haqanis in N Waziristan from the start, and Pakistan never did… The Pakistanis dont listen to anyone. its only when its in the best interest of the pakistani govt and Pak Generals and their wallets that they suddenly worry about extremists.

You didnt need the Americans to tell you that Fazlullah was terrrorist, a stroll down to Khuni Chowk in Swat was enough for that, and you dont need the Americans to tell you that the TTP are a threat, Malala should be enough to tell you that.
