FYI, I got tv-desi.com and watched yesterday's episode LIVE as it was being played in Pakistan 3 pm pakistan, 5 am Pittsburgh time:) (Yes I woke up at 5 to watch this episode)
How do you like it? How are the quality of the streams? Any buffering issues?

The greatest strength of this drama are the characters. All the character's are very realistic.
Mahi reminds me of the countless immature girls who used to be with me in school, who had telephonic 'friendships' and wanted to get married early just so they could be treated like princesses and not have to study, work or do house work. And like all those countless girls, Mahi realizes too late that marriage isn't what she dreamed it would be.
Danish's self centered myopic character is all too familiar. Talk about wanting your cake (Zenia) and eating it too(Mahi)!!! I think we will see the full scale of his character when Zenia finally leaves him (for Jawad?)
And Zenia...she is a paradox. complicated yet simple, modern yet conservative, independent yet yearning dependence. She is every woman:) I think we all can relate to her on some level.
Saify is one character that I wish would just disappear. He needs to be killed or something. but again his character too is realistic.

I really like Zenia's character. It is so complex and yet so everyday! You're right about "I can relate to her".
Why did you have to wake up at 5 am to watch this? It comes on at 8 pm Pakistan time Friday night which is 9 am ET / 8 am CT / 7 am MT Friday morning. I am thinking you are CT in Minneapolis.

This drama is going superbly. Danish's double standards are coming forth. He has his best friend whos a girl and yet objects to mahi and her cousins' friendship.
Do you think Jawad will be influenced by Mahi to leave Zenia alone? I didnt like how Zenia was being character assacinated by Mahi. While she had online boyfriends herself.

I dont think jawad will be influenced by Mahi as he has a strong character and he does not seem to be one of those guys who let their relationship get affected by someone's opinion or influence....in fact i believe Zee would take his side as she already wants to get rid of Danish.
As for Mahi, i understand her concern...whatever she is doing is because of Danish's poor behavior....she has to save her marriage life and thats the natural attempt from her side to save the sinking boat ...since jawad is her cousin friend and she can share her feeling with him openly so she is just trying to make things better....

jawad's character is shown as the opposite of danish. he is everything that danish is not.

I also enjoyed the fact in this last episode how Danish blatantly termed Zee's concern for Jawad as motherly behavior while it is completely OK with him that he's married to a girl who is around the same age as Jawad. This aspect really shows the true nature of our society. I wish Zee had the guts to stand up and say "so are you being fatherly toward Mahi too" hehe ;-) that would have showed him!! lol

^ so true! And another point, Danish has been treated by Zee the same way, she's cooked, cleaned and helped furnished etc for him but as soon as she shows care for Jawad, he's jealous.
I love this drama, cant wait for the next episode.
