yep you're right the story is nothing new but it is script, direction, and acting which make all the difference. Same thing was true for Doraha -

I even liked the interaction of Lily and her husband because that's how I sort of act at times with my husband haha!
thats y husbands sometimes become fed up from their wives and do not like their wives to watch those dramas and read novels in order to disable them from arguing with their husbands :D

yep I like the complexity of Zenia's character. She is an independent woman but still has those basic needs of wanting to be loved and needed. Kind of like sarah jessica parker in sex & the city lol

The thing is Mehreen doesn't have a tendency to stretch the serial unnecessarily which is why we all enjoy her work. Her characters and stories are sharp and to the point so juch so that you can easily connect with them. Malal is a beauty and even though, one can create grounds for comparng it with the character and story of Doraha, at the end of the day, one feels satisfied owing to the beautiful direction. I'm sure asa the story will unravel, we'll see new shades of each character. Right now, I can hardly wait for the Zeenia, Jawaad relationship to blossom!

Deepti is a fantabulous actress! Watch her expressions when Faisal Rehman's character visits her to talk about his problems. Her indifference and fighting to show that she cares or that she is hurt were just amazing!
I am enjoying the blooming romance between Zenia and Jawad - they both are great at cooking and love flowers! ha :)
And I think Faisal really wanted a doormat for a wife! My goodness he wants her to cook, clean, iron and do everything for him - even lay out the clothes he needs to wear after coming back from work puking action
Lily and her Husband provide a nice contrast to all the things happening to the main characters! I love their "mini" interactions ;-)
Fabulous Job Mehreen once again for creating such realistic and relatable characters! I was hoping that maybe you can start teaching direction to a few of our so called "directors" out there who just enjoy the big casts, big houses, and big cars and portray zero characters and emotions.

nope he has seen what she looks like. They had met thru Orkut and then on FB as well. The only thing he doesn't know is her real name.

I'm also loving the new faces. Saify, Lily and her hubby! Brilliant! I'm so glad Mehreen has roped in very realistic actors who portray the character so beautifully. It's like you can easily connect to them which makes the serial all the more pleasant to watch. Next week's episode looks promising- can hardly wait :)
As a little side, I think background scores are amazing! Uber pleasant and very much appropriate!

love it, what a well-written script! they don't even seem like typical dialogues, thats the way 'normal' ppl commuincate. really love the interraction between all characters, so true to life.
