We make time for each other every day! Once a week isn't and wouldn't be acceptable for me!
Me and hubby usually chit chat with each other as we are having dinner everynite. He catches me up on chores and bills and I catch him up on social stuff. If not dinner then we usually talk when watching t.v. I would have to say we don't chat like we did before ruksati. Those were more relaxing and pyari baatein chats.. these are chats that must happen :(

morning as we are getting ready and getting kids ready.
evening during dinner prep time and dinner,
after kids go to bed we sometimes need alone time and will be in diff rooms catching up on stuff, her on her shows like design star etc, I am usually catching up on soccer matches. There are some shows we watch together like burn notice or fringe but they are on hiatus.
I am not a big TV person otherwise so we may be in the same room, she is watching her show I am there laming on the net, but we talk throughout about things going on etc.
There are very few days when we dont talk much, usually my league days because I go right after work and dont get home until kids bed time, and have late dinner, shower up etc. and have just an hour or two left until sleepy time
what we talk about depends, it can be just chit chat, events, social stuff, house stuff..
Even though he lives in pak and I in the states, we talk a minimal of 1-2 hours a day. The best therapy EVER!!!
so who calls u or him ? if u do, do u recommened any calling plans ?

We both call each other, but when i call him I either use call4sale which you can recharge your pin on the go. In the apartment I have a Verizon international calling plan.
But the best way to go is voice call/web-cam through MSN or skype, its clear and free.
