and cbee can you please guide someone like me who does not the abc of crochet…how should i start as a beginner…dont even know what tools and threads are used for this art?

the best way to learn to crochet is by doing simple projects like pot holders and scarves. this way you learn to hold the hook and yarn and become accustomed to the tension that is required for consistency.

once you learn the basics and know how to read patterns (i.e. sc, dc, etc) it will be much easier for you to do the doilies and projects that require fine threads.
