I opened this thread to discuss in general that “how good / beneficial of making a decision by watching an Islamic video or by hearing an online lecture or by reading online?”
For example: If a person want to know how to offer salaat. He watch a random video online, or hear a lecture online or read information pertaining to offering salaat and than assume it is the correct way of offering salaat, rather then reading a book of Fiqh of any four.
So is such knowledge is good / beneficial for a person or he must seek proper way i.e., knowledge from the books of school of thoughts (Fiqh)?
