Makeup Trust Issues - Did anyone do their own make up on their wedding?

I did and I don’t regret it a bit.

It depends where you’re getting married but most of Pakistan there aren’t good parlours that do more natural makeup (or even nice make up by my standards).

I didn’t even have an empty room! I had all my family getting ready and constantly coming in and out too!

I had my hair done at the salon beforehand though. Then after I had finished my makeup a skilled aunty pinned my duputta.

I have a similar persona to you so would much prefer it.. rather than the dreaded bhootni look and please don’t mind my comments girls but most dulhans I have noticed look older than they are without make up compared to on their wedding days and I will be probably be the only bride who is older than her prospective husband so don’t want that..
