I dont wanna walk out a monster so what can i take on the plane nowadays that might help me look a little decent.

as long as its not a liquid-y makeup....no lip glosses. no perfume. u can carry stick lipstick and powder.

I took lipgloss and itar on board, no hassles there, but just to be on the safe side, if u dun wanna buy a $30 lipgloss from chanel only to have it thrown away

the basics: pressed foundation powder, and lipstick.
extras: blush, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner pencil, mascara (i thnk)

you are allowed to carry anything (travel size) including liquids as long as they are in one quarter size ziplock bag. That is, one quarter size bag per passenger. This is from a very recent domestic and international travel experience.

yup, thats right.
drink lots of water during the flight, so you're not dehydrated.
take a facewash so you can get all the dead skin off you before applying makeup. and then pack the usuals- base, eyeliner, mascara, lip and cheek stuff. if you get one of those all over pencils, you'll be able to use it for lips and cheeks. voila!
oh and dont forget your moisturizer!

definatley face wipes!!!..dats wt i take moisturiser cuz ur skin can go dry in the plane..put on makeup 5 min b4 landin!..n keep da makeup u regulary use. dts bout it..oh plus i kno it aint makeup but …chewin gum!!..hate it wen ur ear pops!!! urghghg!!!
