Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

Ooh! i’d do a golden shimmery eye, heavy on the mascara, just a touch of eyeliner (not too heavy) and red lips.. emphasis on the lips, so not toom uch gold on the eyes just enough to make em stand out. G’luck :hula:

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

Black and gold shimmery eye, bronzer dusted all over your cheeks, and a nice nude lip

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

yes yes gold and black smokey eyes with nude lips. will look gr8

Smokey eyes in black.. and a dust of antique gold fairy-dust! A bronzer/brown blush on u're cheeks and a pale nude lipstick.

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

^ agree with the last 3, dramatic, bold eyes and nude/soft lips

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

You could also do a retro look by using the dramatic eyeliner on your eyes and gold or nude lips and a nice, high, sweeping hairstyle like the old heroines.

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

line youre eyes with black liner…you could even go for the winged look and a nice shimmery gold eyeshadow and either nude or really light lips!!!

pale nude lipstick does not suite me. I am so bad with applying makeup but let’s see  thank you all.

Ira I have short hair so I dont know how to make hairstyle like the old heroines :hmmm: have clip-on hair exstention at home will try to do something with that.

Re: Makeup question with Black and gold saree

hey smokey eyes r easy

jst do ur base and start with gold shimmer all over ur eye lids then take black eye shade and do the outer corners of ur lids extend lil bit towards the middle of eye lids. take a q-tip and blend the visible lines. apply eye liner or upper and lower lids. blend the liner on lower lids a lil for smokey effect. and reapply jst on the waterline. wet ur eye shade brush a lil if u want more intense colours.

if nude lips doesnt suit u then try really pale pink, gold or any colour. but remember jst a wash of colour cuz u want attention to ur eyes. and yr good to go :D

Thank you bili :) I promise I will do my best . I will let you know how it turned out .

mehroo so what did you end up doing?

I did exactly what girls asked me to do :-D nude lips ,dark eyes ..looked nice .
got my hair done ,used clip-on hair exstention and curled them so in the end i got kind of old heroines hairstyle :D

2 more functions are coming up on next weekend so I need more help .

Gina are you listening ? :-D

it’s a pretty simple look i think rani took that pic around 04 in an old stardust magazine i had but it had a white background anyhow

here is a useful website to help

but a classic look would be to get a dark gold look and use a shimmery rusty orange like color in the crease and just line your eyes black, use a black eyeshadow to color blend the corner of your eyes. Then smudge the lower lid with your eyeliner (covergirl has a great pencil with a smudger on the other side) and curl your eyelashes and ta-da.*

I'm right here :)

Okay
so here is the dress I am going to wear .

Help :)

depends on ur skin tone and ur age. no matter what enhance ur best feature. be careful wearing a red lipstick with a black and gold saree, few people can carry it of
