what is a good brand for a girl in her 20s? or are these two brand estee lauder and lancome meant for an older generation? what would be recommended for a woman in her 20s if not the above would it be bare escentuals, MAC, or clinique? Thank you!

Estee Lauder's concealer is amazing! it's a cult favorite with make up artists...
I use Lancome's skin care range.. from the cleanser, eye makeup remover, aqua fusion for summers, hydra zen for winters.
Make up i swear by mac! other than that i have a bits and pieces occasionally from shu umera, lancome juicy tubes are hpt, and lots of chanel.

I find clinique to be inexpensive, good coverage, and leaves a glowing finish (versus cakey). I think it's formulated for a younger generation. personally i dont like the mineral stuff, and haven't tried mac, but I know a lot of people rave about it

nothing specific all my life I used generic brands with lipstick from lorearl and their foundation and nyx eye shades I just wanted to upgrade and I have to do shopping for someones jahez shes needs recommendations and i didn't know where to start. i read on yahoo answers that lancome and estee lauder were targetted at a older crowd so i got confused.

i think one should try stuff and buy whtever u like.. but for asian skins MAC is the best for make up.. second is bobbi brown

I love Lancome...from skin care to make up...all of it. Ive been using their powders for about three years now, makeup remover, eyeshadows and have used their Oligio Minerale moisturizer also...quality stuff...I like.
Lancome, Estee L, Chanel are def for more mature skin. For sumone in their mid-20's I'd suggest makeup from The Body Shop and Makeup Forever.. u really don't want to ruin u're skin with makeup meant for older, more mature skin.
L'oreal, smashbox, nars, revlon,maybelline are all great for young skin!
well yeah I went to ulta and the make up artist tried and recommended smashbox to me. i got some advice to get more pigmented color such as urban decay for eye makeup and smashbox for face. i think lipstick it doesn't matter?? get a color that suits u?
Nope! Try diff colored glosses...matte lipsticks are for mature women.

I LOVE BODY SHOP!!!!!!!!! Especially their lipsticks. And they have pretty eyeshadow quads as well. L'Oreal lipsticks are nice. And I like the mascara and mousse blush from Maybelline. Smashbox and Urban decay are nice a well and their strong pigments remind me of MAC. Urban Decay has a awesome eyeliners in glitter and a variety of colors. MAC is cool too!

estee lauder is waste of money i wud say. i hate myself for spending money on good for nuthign stuff 
u can find much much much better products than estee lauder in drug store brands seriously

IMO, it depends that whtever suits u is the best. Benn using Estee Luder products since teenage years and still like them. But used the more milder products (facial cleanser, light coverage foundation, lipsticks.....)
For me Lancome foundations were too "heavy" and with more of a "pinkish" tone.....

I used products from both brands when I was in my late teens (used to LOVE the Lancome lip glosses) but right now only Estee Lauder for the lipliner to line and fill in, unlike a lot of other pencils it's nice and creamy :)

definetly estee lauder...i use their make up and their lipsticks are really hot! and their nailpolish JUNGLE RED amaaazing!! and concealer also great !! (and i am also in the twenties...)
i used to be a clinique girl until i got into my mom's estee lauder gift sets and got to sample lotions, lipsticks, shadows, and best of all their mascara that I still wear and swear by. I have really straight lashes and have a hard time curling them but with the estee lauder brand I can coat my lashes and curl them and have them stay nicely for pretty much all day. I had a lancome makeup set a few year back I got as an xmas gift, and was disappointed. however i will highly recommend elizabeth arden shadows. I got one of those as a makeup kit and it was huge for a great deal around xmas time as well and really liked the way the lip pencils didn't bleed out on my lips like some tend to. it's hard for me to wear red or wine colors on my lips because they get dry so quickly but their pencils never bled throughout my wear.

hey guys...did anyone of u tried ever electric eyelash curler...i use normal eyelash curler but i blow dry them so my lashes stands better up...
