Makeup Looks with Bright Red Lipstick

So I finally bought the famous “Russian Red” lipstick from MAC to wear on valentines day when I go out wit da hubby…now I’m wondering how to do makeup for the rest of my face…eyes/blush?? Tips and or pictures would help me! Thanks

My sister is really fair...so what she does is whenever she goes out at night and decides to put red lipstick she keeps the other makeup minimal but at the same time its a bit shimmery...
While in day time she keeps the whole makeup is neutral and nude-ish...and she looks really nice, not at all over dressed and all.

As little foundation as possible that you're comfortable with

A few flicks of mascara, a little bit of eyeliner (nothing too heavy or dramatic though), blush isn't necessary

How heavy the foundation is would depend on her skin; I would suggest that she use enough to create a flawless complexion since red lipstick is pretty dramatic and draws eyes to the face. Try neutral toned blush, definitely mascara and liner. For a classic look, leave out eyeshadow or wear a light coloured one.

Red lipstick suits both dark and light skin but one needs flawless skin to pull it off IMO (one of the reasons why I still havent used red lipstick).

I like it when it's red eyes and a nuetral shimmer color on the lids with a winged eyeliner for extra drama, a pale pink blush also and mascara and curled lashes.
