How do you contour a face or a nose to get a finished look? All the makeup artists in pakistan do it for pictures.

Do you use blush for it or foundation?
Is the concept to highlght some area and darken others?
What brushes to you use for it?
Is there such a thing as nautal contouring - where you don't look so done up?

I follow this technique, with bronzer (as shown in the vid below) or with MAC Sculpt and Shape Powder using #138 brush from MAC.

as far as i remember there are many different ways to achieve the look.
you can use different shades of foundation (i believe this is the method used by salons in pak when doing brides) or different shades of powder. the latter is the method i've seen employed in the west more casually. they don't contour brides usually as their brides are not so made-up; it's mainly in tv and print and the professionals use palettes of both foundations and powders.
MAC MSF Naturals (they are matte-ish) are quite popular for normal folk to achieve natural contouring. It's a combination of darker powders in some areas (sides of nose, hollows of cheeks) and highlighting in others.

Njgal it depends on the shape of u're face.. if u have a round face then u apply a deeper blush to the "hollows" of u're cheeks and finish-off with a shimerry blush on the apples of u're cheeks to create cheek-bones.
U shud also apply a small amount of bronzer/blush to u're temples.
Use a eye-shadow 2 shades darker than u're complexion for contouring u're nose.. apply it on the sides of u're nose and use a "bone-white" shadow and go down the bridge on u're nose.
For people with a long nose.. u need to apply some to the tip of u're nose..
To make u're jawline more prominent apply u're bronzer to bottom part of u're jawline.
Please keep the shape of u're face in mind before contouring.. the one mentioned above is for round/oval faces.

when i contour my face, i do it just like gina says, and it works well just another tip i think highlighting the brow bone can give a completely finished look!

^ Enroll in grooming class, they give u a personalized class and teach u makeup according to the shape of your face.
