I’m sick of sticking to the usual things I do for work everyday. I change the lipstick colours but apart from that I find my makeup pretty much the same. Can you guys share tips on what you do?
Re: Makeup for work
I never did anything too dramatic for work when I worked in a corporate setting.
I always kept it very neutral...good base, mascara, kajal, blush and sometimes lipstick.
Re: Makeup for work
I only pretty much change my eyeliner, sometimes I just keep it light and sometimes I use different colours/different smokey-ness/make it more intense and that kinda stuff. Never been a full-on make up girl for work, might apply a bit of lippie as well but that's about it.
Re: Makeup for work
I'm always changing up or using different colours for work but by colours I mean all neutral colours LOL... Lately I've been doing an Adele inspired eye with black winged liner.
Re: Makeup for work
I'm usually very neutral except for the occasional splash of colour on the lips but I've had the same craving to change things up for a while now.......
I'm gonna start doing the eyes up......light neutral colour and smokey shading as well.....as long as it's not too dramatic it should be okay.....
Re: Makeup for work

- fish tail
- straight hair
- curly/wavy hair

I think yall have overlooked blush, it’s a great way to add a subtle glow to you, freshen up your face. You can use pinker hues to bring on a spring look or shimery bronzer like blushes to add a little glam.
I love the blushes in this set that my sister bought me for xmas: https://www.toofaced.com/p-1094-dreams-come-true-collection.aspx These colors are fun and a good change from the nars orgasm that all the brown girls are rocking these days.
Also sometimes i do a smokey eye with a dark brown matte color on my lid and I use a lighter shimmery brown in the crease and blend the dark matte color to the crease. It’s a great way to make a subtle smokey eye that’s still work appropriate. If anyone has the coastal scents pallet there’s a brown right above the black matte color I use that on my lids and use the shimmer lighter brown color on my crease and it stays all day because I use my studiofx lid primer. I don’t make an exaggerated area I really just stick to my crease and it looks natural and dramatic.
Also most days i do a matte nuetral color on my lid, a slightly darker color for the crease and just liner. now days however I line my inner lashes with black very thinly and then use my mascara and curl my lashes and go out like that. Other times when I do a nuetral matte color on my lids I curl my lashes and use a navy blue color or emerald green color OVER my black liner. it’s also a subtle way to make the eye pop and suitable for work.
Re: Makeup for work
I keep it subtle yet not too plain. For eyes, I just use kajal/eye pencil. For the face, it's mostly tinted moisturizer, concealer, cream blush. And some neutral shade lipstick for the lips.
