Makeup for Saanwali skin

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

I think it's a matter of taste, I think frost pastels do work (matte ones look bad). In fact I think you have to be more careful in how you apply the darker colours if you have darker skin tone.

Teelo u shud also opt for bases with yellow undertones to avoid the "grey-effect" and for eye's smokey eyes with dark colors work well such as steel-grey, navy blue, emerald green, deep purple's etc. You can carry of golds, browns, bronze and copper as well.

Ohkay, Thanks Gina. Any suggestions for the blush colors? i use plum pink...theres this other pink my aunt got for me...which is like chocolaty-pink but the named/code got rubbed so i don't remember the exact name, i really love that one....i also use peachy colors...any other suggestions...because whenever i got to a cosmetics store i just want every color i like rather then the one which i should get and which might suit my tone more :s

For blush i'd stick to tawny browns, slightly darker pinks and peaches not the baby-doll pinks. Even deep plum would look great.

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

a deep red lipstick would look nice too

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

her makeup looks nice

she was waaaaaaaaaaayyyy darker when she began her career(check out raaz nd ajnabi).. nd she has gotten way fairer now nd i think thats y more different make-up colours can suit her now.

plzz no freak out s girlz…learn 2 accept reality!

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

lol..it's possible..or it can also be that she knows what kind of makeup looks best of her..plus, the lighting helps

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

im darker than my sisters, so i always make sure i wear foundation it makes my skin tone even. then i wear plumish color blush with gold eye shadow and i always leave my lips nude

Urgh, I think she looks terrible in this picture.

Normal people aren't exposed to the kind of lighting celebs are, celeb's usually use bases with pink undertones cuz they're under white lights for long durations, hence they can get away with bold colors!

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

**You can usually tell your undertones by the color of your veins....

If your veins look more greenish then you have yellow/warm undertones

If your veins look more bluish then you have blue/cool undertones
**
At this is what i was told!

this is a candid photo of bips..i dont think there is a white light that follows them around every where they go unless they attach 1 2 themselves. nd it certainly is not a photoshoot pic that they had all the lights set up. they can b photographed any time anywhere even without a white light.

besides her whole body looks lighter. r u telling me she put foundation on her arms and neck and chest as well? yeah right.

They appear candid to you soni, flashes on media camera's are made of the same light. And yes ALL of them go thru hours of body air-brushing. Shilpa Shetty was in Dubai..and it was painful watching her getting it done!

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

Oh yes bollywood actors really need a lot of makeup to look how they appear to be, even if the look is natural, i saw an interview of shahrukh khan where the makeup guy kept on applying foundation for half an hour..(and it was obviously cut short, edited etc)...and that to only on his face..in that time i can take a bath in foundation and do so much more...the lights to are so much that at times they look yellow and at times they look so milky white but never do they look how they really are.

:uz:

Re: Makeup for Saanwali skin

airbrush makeup! invented for the sole purpose of applying makeup onto larger areas...back,arms,butt,neck,legs...you name it..!!!!
soni..have you seen people getting an airbrush tan..its takes an hour to do the whole body, they even give you fake muscles....ie shade in 'muscles'.....anything is possible :)

My veins are kind of pinkish-purple, bluish/greyish as well nothing greenish though :s

I think Smokey eyes, pale lips and bronze cheeks really accentuate saanwali skin.

Try this, i really like her finishing results.
