I am curious to know what this thing is that gives makeup/makeovers this nice satin sheen? I see brides/women/girls after their make overs with this silky complexion. Is it some kind of powder that makes the skin glow?

i know theres a spray... but i cant remember its name. its to set your makeup.

I used to use an Aveda toner as the guy who sold it to me said it would work as a makeup sealer too. To be honest, I didnt really notice much of a difference.

do you mean a sheen on just the cheeks, forehead and eyes? you could use a highlighting powder/liquid for that. you apply that over foundation to areas you want to highlight on the face.
Makeup sealants keep the makeup in place, I am not sure if they provide a 'glow' as i've never used one.
an all over sheen on the face would look kinda fake and oily dont you think? but I guess you could use one of those illuminating foundations for that purpose.

Yep the sealent has tiny shimmer particles that give the base an even, velvet touch...even a primer before makeup wud do the trick!

I have one by Christian Dior - its come with a bronzer, blush and eyeshadow I think - and lip gloss all on one pallette.. Its the most amazing combo I've seen..

Bronzer in the world of makeup is used either for contouring or obtaining a "sun-kissed" look and works very well on the jaw-line, temples and cheeks...when done in the correct way =)
On my clients I use a face-primer followed by the entire makeup process n then the sealent -)

I use "that gal" face primer by benefit, followed by a MAC fixer =) high-beam shimmer by benefit is also great!

hmm fixing powder from kryolan is gr8..it just seals ur makeup and whatever the condition is like perspiration or oiliness of skin or anyother thing..ur makeup would stay like u had put it earlier...its really good...
