With heavy makeup I think it looks nicer when the lips are more subtle.. eg smokey eyes and nude lips..

When people try and emphasise too much at the same time it can look a bit clown-like imo

What if you’re wearing bright red for a formal occasion. Even if it is not a smokey eye look but the upper and lower eye lids are lined. Would you still wear nude lip color or more reddish lip color?
