I like using a brush to spread the product (foundation) onto the entire face evenly but I always go-over with a slightly damp sponge for a seamless, flawless finish. I find brushes leave streaks and tiny tiny dots but are great for distributing product on the entire face.

My method is the same as Gina’s.

I have used foundation brushes in the past and love the Shiseido one as a buffer. I use a basic flat foundation brush right now though just to pick up the product and place it.

The blending is always using a beauty blender which in my opinion is positively amazing.

It’s so true that it tends to get applied evenly with the foundation brush. I got the original beauty blender too but what’s your method, soak it in water, squeeze out the water so the blender is moist but not soaking wet and then just pressing/bouncing it off the skin on the face or do you use a different method. I’ve heard great things about the blender but I feel like i’m not doing it right because i’m not getting the result that makeup artist youtube video people get.
