Makeup Brushes

Any recommendations on good makeup brushes that DONT shed? I cant stand the shedding!!! It gets in my eyes and I start tearing up…

Re: Makeup Brushes

i’ve got a lot of MAC brushes, i’ve always been happy with them - no shedding. recently i wanted some extra brushes but didn’t want to spend too much so i bought some japonesque ones. i was pleasantly surprised, they didn’t shed and there are a few i use everyday now.

i’m also going to try out brushes by coastal scents - their eyeshadow palettes and makeup brushes got really good reviews and they are dirt cheap, so i think it’s worth a try!

all brushes might shed a bit on their first wash but shouldn’t really after that. i always wash them as soon as i get them to get rid of anything that might want to come out. after that it’s usually fine!

oh yea, i just remembered. these got really good reviews too. just a bit cheaper than MAC. but i think i’m gonna try coastal scents first.

Re: Makeup Brushes

You can go this route and purchase several cheap brushes (1 dollar each), at eyeslipsface.com

Sonia Kashuk has a line at Target that is decent, and decently priced.

Or you could go to sephora and order their brand brushes, or makeup forever's brand brushes.
There are tons to choose from.

Re: Makeup Brushes

So, should I wash my brushes when I get them? Is that a rule? I didnt know that...

Re: Makeup Brushes

Ive seen Japonesque at Ulta...they seemed pretty neat looking...

Re: Makeup Brushes

MAC and ID Bare Minerals brushes are the best, body shop isnt bad either.

Re: Makeup Brushes

^^I concur. Buy MAC and BM. Their a bit pricey but very worth it.

Re: Makeup Brushes

i have a 36 piece bobbi brown set, had it for 12 months and no probs yet!

Re: Makeup Brushes

the bodyshop brushes--theyre loooooong lasting, affordable, and you can wash them with regular soap and water!

Re: Makeup Brushes

Estee Lauder's foundation brush is the BEST I have ever used.. even better than Mac where all my brushes are from. Funny thing is I bought it in a rush because Mac's counter was crowded with people and I was rushing with hubby to get home for a dawat. So I just ran to the EL counter and bought the brush. I don't even use the Mac one anymore, this one is soooo soft and great to use!
