Hi Guys,
Bit of a dilemma - My weddings next year, but I know how hard it is to get a decent Make-Up artist, so I want to book well in advance.
I LOVE the look of Dil Matharus work, I think it is stunning and definitely want that type of look for my wedding, very sort of clean-looking and not too heavy or cakey. BUT I emailed him to enquire about a trial, about a month ago. No reply. Then I left a message on his Phone. Again No reply. I then text him. Surprise Surprise No reply. This is all over the course of about 4 weeks so I wasn’t exactly bombarding him.
I know he is very very popular, but it has really put me off booking him, as if there were problems or something I needed to get in touch with him about, I just wonder how hard it’d be for me to contact him.
So was wondering if anyone knew of any makeup artists that were a similar style to Dils? But reliable?? And have you ever seen there work in real life? Not just airbrushed pics.

dil and ambreen work together a lot and have a very similar style, she is also very professional and reliable.
Jawwad is also brilliant in my opinion. Ive seen boths work and had ambreen do my bridal.
ive heard great things about gini bhogal too who is also known for steering away from cakey make up and again she is very professional.
other than that there are all the usual suspects - everyone has personal preferences to what style they're after so just narrow down a few recommendations and email them for photos of real brides before you go for a trial!
