i am looking for a makeup artist in boston for my sisters wedding to do her bridal makeup. also if someone knows of some photographer to cover the wedding function.
i ll appreciate any recommendation/ suggestions

Lisa Rigby looks good but her website says that she books 9 to 15 months in advance. I am going to contact her to see if she is available.

anyone having experience with Natasha Ahmed in Boston

I ve been looking for a makeup artist nd found Natasha Ahmed. She seems to have a good profile but there is no Pakistani brides on her website.
I asked her and she told me that she has done makeup for pakistani brides but she does not have any professional photographs.
She has good reviews on Yelp but again not for any pakistani bridal makeup.
Does anyone have any experience with her ?

hi! you may want to contact a lady named Salma Chaudhry. she does bridal makeup in the boston area. also, there is another aunty that does it - her name is Smitha. in terms of photographers, i say you hire amna siddiqui her website is www.amnasphotography.com, she’s amazing and will travel anywhere.

for anyones information, here is what we went with:

we went with Lauren at 'sarra' in boston.
We sent her pictures of pakistani brides earlier to let her know what kind of makeup we were looking for.
Lauren was very nice and listened to all our suggestions, accomodated them and I think did a very good job.
Ofcourse everyone has a different taste, some people thought the makeup was light for a bride, but I think it was good, natural yet enhancing her features.
The charges were also very reasonable but ofcourse we went to her salon instead of asking her to come on- site.
'sarra' does not do hair so for that we went to 'Shag' which is in the same building.
My sister looked up for some images over the internet right there and told her what she wanted. The hairdo turned out very nice as well.

Try MUNIRA MEHTA of BEAUTIFUL BRIDE LLC/MAKEUP BY MUNIRA MEHTA .she is quite reasonable,and travels all around.her packaes are cheap and affordable. Last year she was here in boston for two weddings and she was on time. check out her face book page or her website www.muniramehta.com......
