Makeup and Age

This morning I saw an old woman who had face full of wrinkles but she had long nails , red lipstick , plucked eyebrows , eye shadows etc.
She looked horrible as opposed to looking pretty. I am sure she would look pretty and graceful old woman if she got rid of all that leepa poti, they call makeup ?

What are your thoughts on the matter? When is the right age to stop using make up? .. or in your opinion continue to using make up till ? Do you think old people look good with makeup or would they look good more without it?

Re: Makeup and Age

reminds me of the muhaavra: Buddhi ghoRi, laal lagaam.

Re: Makeup and Age

Ok AQ my urdu is not that good so what does this muhaavra mean?

Re: Makeup and Age

nah even young girls with makeup look equally stupid:chai:

Re: Makeup and Age

really? how come? n young girls meaning which age group?

heavy makeup doesnt look good on any female, no matter what her age unless its for a function or eomthing..light makeup looks nice n natural on everyone!

Re: Makeup and Age

i so agree with you! i think heavy make up is unnecessary call for attention!

Come to South Florida; for some reason, ALL old ladies have fake nails!! I used to think the really long nails with white tips must be really hard to grow, and then I saw a lady getting acrylics at my salon and it all made sense.

I also see some plastic surgeried ladies with stretched out faces, fake boobs, and tracksuits which say "juicy" over their hollow butts. The fake boobs look really weird jutting out of a bony chest...it's so funny, my guy coworkers will stare at a distance and when the lady comes close, they get SOOO freaked out, cuz the lady is like 80!!
