So I plan on using Make Up Forever HD Foundation, which is supposed to photograph really well with a heavy countour/highlight using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. If anyone has any other suggestions make up wise as to how to make it more prominent, I would really appreciate it.
I get really fussy when someone else does my makeup cause I lose that sense of control in the process. I will be near Gujranwala and Sheikhupura during the wedding, so any makeup artist suggestions in the are would also be appreciated.
I get out of University December 23. We want the wedding to be somewhere between Dec. 25 and Dec 31., so I have time to go to dawats/ enjoy Pakistan before my winter break is over (Jan 20), so I don’t know if I will have the time to really go to trials. How many days does the trial have to be before the wedding? Or there is no deadline as long as you find someone perfect before the day?

I did my own makeup for my mangni and will be doing my own for the mehndi. I can do my own for the wedding if I REALLY wanted to, but I like the idea of just sitting there and letting someone else deal with my face for the day.

Make sure the foundation you have does not have SPF in it because it’ll cause a white cast on your face when photographed and make sure your makeup is a lot heavier than you normally do because it’ll still photograph very subtle.

Mehndi I want minimal makeup anyways and so I wanted to do it myself because I feel very caked on when I get it done professionally. My suggestion would be, before you completely disregard a professional MUA (who are pretty good at doing what photographs well…usually), go for a trial or two and THEN make your decision.

Where are you located? I’m sure someone here can recommend some MUA.
