I've been using coconut oil on my hair recently and i think it's actually added moisture. Also I switched from using drugstore brand products to salon shampoo and conditioner. It's expensive but much more gentle and moisturizing. My hair feels healthier. Since my hair is naturally curly, I've been letting it air dry rather than straighten it out. I'm debating whether to let it just grow out long and curly or actually style it. Sometimes the best thing to do for your hair is to just leave it alone. Like don't wash it or touch it for a few days so the natural oils can come out.
just wash carefully as the slimy texture of the fruit will be a bit hard to get off of your hair. i do this.
wrap my hair in a warm and damp towel and it lifts out the fruit and its juice. then simply wash ur hair out.
i wish we only believed in natural ways of making ourselves pretty and clean.
so, i always at least try them.

Another simple good face mask:
take 1-2 slices of cucumber and dice/mash up really good with a fork. Add a little bit of egg white and mix/whip it as much as you can. Apply that to your face with fingertips and let the mask dry until hard. Then rinse off with warm water. I love this mask, very refreshing and tightens skin.
