Make up remover

Hey all,

Just need help with any reccomendations for a good make up remover.

Re: Make up remover

Olive oil. I haven't tried baby oil, but I hear that works well too.

Re: Make up remover

^ I haven't actualy heard of using olive oil as a make up remover before. Wouldn't it give a oily cloggy look after removal

Re: Make up remover

i have bottles of make up remover from different brands like, Shisiedo, elazibeth arden, lancome, laneige, dior and estee lauder, but i must say nothing works better than olive oil and baby oil!! and both are wayyyyyyyy cheaper!!

Olive oil does give oily cloggy look after removal, but aren't you going to wash your face after the make up removal?

Re: Make up remover

^ lol ofcourse I am.... i will give it a go. I take it, it should be applied to a cotton pad and then applied over the make up.

Re: Make up remover

  • Bioderma (I just soak a cotton pad and it removes everything, eye makeup/mascara/lash glue/ lipstick, everything! And it's great for sensitive eyes because you can even remove on the waterline without stinging)

  • Kiss Me Heroine Make mascara remover (for waterproof mascara and I have not lost a lash since, lol. You just apply this like mascara over your mascara and it dissolves the mascara and I just wipe it off with Bioderma. It's a Japanese-made product so I buy it from eBay for around $10)

Re: Make up remover

It does leave an oily film on the face, but you can just wash it off if you have oily skin.

Re: Make up remover

right... olive oil
and another way cheaper solution is Vaseline....

Re: Make up remover

I will try olive oil can't stand vaseline on the skin..... will find it difficult to wash it off.....

Bioderma sounds good

Re: Make up remover

Hey,

Ive tried ebay but random items come up… can you please forward a link if its not too much trouble

Re: Make up remover

i dont use it on my face either .. i use it only for my waterproof eye makeup and stuff...and use wetnaps or tissue to remove the excessvie and then wash normally.....i just find it better than olive oli because sometimes oil burns my eyes if i am using it to remove my inner liner or waterproof mascara ...

Re: Make up remover

I want to get hold of this Bioderma product but can’t seem to find it :disgust:

Re: Make up remover

Sure, here it is.

Re: Make up remover

Re: Make up remover

Hey thanks alot… do have the link for the Bioderma by any chance

Re: Make up remover

Here is the link for Bioderma

The you want is the one w/ the pink cap. I’d also suggest getting the 500 ml one and buying only from sellers selling from the UK because there have been fakes.

Re: Make up remover

anybody tried Eskinol? could be a bit drying coz it has alcohol in it.
