I was wondering in Pakistan, Karachi do the salon there usually carry and use imported cosmetics or cosmetics produced in Pakistan. I was wondering about this cause mostly all ingrediants in imported cosmetics carry some sort of haram ingrediant,
Re: Make up in Beauty Salon [Pakistan]
Depends on who you are going to, Someone who does quality makeup and a decent job usually carries imported makeup. And define “haraam” ingredients:confused:
Re: Make up in Beauty Salon [Pakistan]
yea, not quite sure what you mean by imported products carrying haram ingredients...explain please
Re: Make up in Beauty Salon [Pakistan]
Mostly all cosmetics have some sort of animal derived ingrediant in them, wether it is pig, beef (was not zabad according to Islamic law), insects, etc. There is rarely any synthetic or natural. The thing is, I have no problem with animal drevied ingrediant (obviously not pig) if the animal was zabad in the Islamic law. Imported cosmetics don't follow our rules obviously that is why I was wondering, because when I go the salon to get ready for gatherings and what not and have make up applied to me I don't want something like that on me.
Re: Make up in Beauty Salon [Pakistan]
Even makeup that is considered local in Pak, is sometimes imported from other countries…
However, the following is a halal makeup line, I don’t think that you will find any MUA’s in Pak using this though…

Okay thanks :).
I was just wondering being an Islamic country and all shouldn’t they care about what they are using? ![]()

...lol.
In that case, you should be worried about the shampoo and conditioner you use as well. Toothpaste too.

I try to, to the best of my abilities. Thanks for the seemingly sarcastic tip that I didn't need.
