Re: make up help
Ok since you're a beginner you shouldn't stress yourself about using too many products. Start with a few things and once you've mastered those, move onto the other things.
Before you apply your makeup always wash your hands, this might sound silly but alot of people don't do that. Always start with a good moisturiser ( the one you use now would do, there's no need to go crazy finding a good moisturiser :)) I personally would recommend Nivea, Clarins or Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturiser.
Once you've moisturised you could apply some concealer under your eyes and chin ( if the chin area is darker). If you have good skin I wouldn't bother with foundation, if you want to use foundation then do so :)
Once the foundatin has been applied, try some pink blusher for the cheeks. If you have a round face, start higher up and if you have a long face, apply blusher starting from near your nose but don't go too high as this will elongate your face.
What I usually do is skip the foundation and put some sun lotion on after i've used a concealer under my eyes. You could do the same too if you want.
Next step is the eyes. Mascara and eye pencil or liquid liner should be ok.
Lips: A nice gloss or a pink coloured lipstick would look nice
Voila!You're good to go!
Hope this helped :)
Re: make up help
^ a step by step picture guide would be helpful:)
1: Make sure your face is clean and that you follow a good skin care routine.
2: Choose products according to your skin type. If you have oily skin, use a mattifying moisturiser and an oil-free primer/foundation etc.
3: Moisturise your face. Wait between 30 secs to a minute to let the skin absorb the product. Make sure it has SPF in it.
4: Optional: Apply a primer to your face. This creates an invisible barrier between your skin and the makeup.
5: Apply foundation. Or you may use a tinted moisturiser for sheer coverage. Make sure the colour matches your skin and that your face colour matches your neck colour.
6: Apply concealer to dark circles under the eyes, on your blemishes and anywhere else that you may need to.
7: Apply powder to seal the foundation and concealer in place.
8: Apply blush to the apples of your cheek.
9: Optional: Contour your cheek bones with a bronzer.
10: Optional: Apply a highlighting product to areas of your face where the light hits naturally. This will give a glowing effect to the skin.
11: Moving onto the eyes, apply neutral eyeshadows to the eyes. Lightest colour should be placed on the lid and inner corner, darker colour on the crease and the darkest colour in the outer corner in a V shape.
12: You may apply the darker colour to the lower lash line as well.
13: Apply eyeliner.
14: Curl lashes and apply mascara.
15: Optional: Apply false eyelashes in natural.
16: Clean off any mess due to the application of the shadows. If any of your concealer or foundation come off, reapply carefully. Alternatively, you can do your eyes before you do your face.
17: Moving onto the lips, simply apply a nice lip gloss.
18: Optional: You may apply a fixing spray to fix your makeup so that it stays on pretty much all day long.
I understand you're looking for detailed answers on how to apply each product, the best product to use, the best way to apply the products etc... The reason I haven't laid them out here is because it would be just crazy to write all that down especially when I can simply guide you to youtube. There are millions of videos up there on how to apply foundation, how to line your eyes etc etc etc... the list is endless... I have just laid out the 18 steps that should get you started on applying basic makeup. You should now educate yourself on each of these steps through youtube vids. G'luck!
Re: make up help
Good advices. Another thing I would add to all that's been posted... make sure you exfoliate your skin twice to get good make up results.

Re: make up help
Princess if you are new, you are gonna learn step by step. You could pick the tips from here but you need to spend time in a cosmetic shop, buy and practice to get it right.
Exfoliate, tone and moisturize..let u're moisturizer 'sink-in' for atleast 5 minutes...and then follow mama ki dua and BBC!
