Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
Pale says nothing. We need to know whether you're warm or cool, hair color, eye color etc. in order to suggest shades and colors.
Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
i think bright colors like blues and greens look really good on pale skin... just mix it up with charcoal and smoke em out.
Lighter blues, turquoise.. look pretty and so do corals and pistachio greens.
Re: make up for pale skin tone …
shimmery blue looks really good on pale skin and green is good too(depending on the shade). I found Loreal HIP shadows to be great for pale complexions…especially the shades ‘Showy’, ‘Flare’’ and ‘Glided’ which I have tried and they look beautiful! :k:
btw, check some youtube videos for tips…there are loads of them!!
Re: make up for pale skin tone …

Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
Hi Chicken Biryani I'm very pale and wear blues and greens for eyeshadow almost exclusively.
Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
Like other posters said, it's not so much whether you're pale, but the undertones in your skin.
If you want a safe bet, use neutral colors and tones: beige for a highlighter, mocha for over the lids and chocolate for shading. This looks fabulous on all skin tones.
u just have to know how to use it if you want blue don't use electric blue but a sheer pale one
i think sheer cream shadows or shimmery shades that are not bold painted on like colors will work well. any eyeshadow with soft pinks or lilacs will suit you well and be easier to wear if you're not used to wearing color on your eyes.

that sounds good, but what brand has the best beigh, mocha, and chocolate eye shadows?

Laura Mercier has a great selection of neutrals, nudes and earth tones. I would also try Bobbi Brown and Estee Lauder - but definitely Laura M. first.
HTH!!
Hey CA, I’ve been wanting to try the HIP line of shadows in hopes that there’s at least some quality drugstore eyeshadow out there… I find all teh cheap stuff disappears after a couple hours… how about this stufF? How longlasting is it?
Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
Skittles, the ones I have tried tend to last long(at least 4-5 hours-never tried longer) but it actually depends on a person's skin type. If your eyes tend to get oily then you need to use an eye primer. I have heard Urban Decay's Primer Potion is the best for this. It really makes the eye makeup stick to skin all day long and makes the colors more vibrant and fresh.
Re: make up for pale skin tone ....
Skittlez - HIP is actually an excellent choice if you want to go for intense color (HIP = Hight Intensity Pigment).
As Corrupt Angel said, you should use a primer to make the color last longer.
