Re: Make-up courses!

Re: Make-up courses!

For lahore poeple also tell from wr u get best?

Re: Make-up courses!

I'm looking to do a full makeup course. Any good places in yorkshire?

I have found sadaf hair and beauty in manchester, she is amazing! She has a facebook page and a youtube page.

Re: Make-up courses!

I dont like sadafs makeup much, She only does makeup on great skin models, who has fresh looking clear skin and so radiant so that any foundation can be worked superbly on their skin and i just hate her eyemakeups too they look horrible to me sumtimes..Its best if you can afford to go to Naeem khan's academy in leeds(im not too sure with the location but i believe it is) check him on facebook aswell!

Re: Make-up courses!

Thank you for the brilliant advice. I was looking into naeem khans training academy, but he offers a 3 day course, which I don't think I can learn everything in that set period of time. I'm sure you need more than 3 days to learn everything inc different hair put ups etc.

I'm in two minds with sadaf because I have noticed a bit of editing in her pictures. She is offering a 2 week course which covers everything i.e bridal makeup, arabic makeup, party makeup and hair put ups.

Hmmm... confused! lol.

Re: Make-up courses!

Your welcome sweets:) 3days ??? he told me he does 7days course and i was still not liking it because you cant really learn and have some perfection in the makeup within a week...the thing is you dont have any good MUA in uk who offeres courses so its really hard to do it in the uk..Can you travel to pak and do it from there?

Re: Make-up courses!

You can't learn anything in 3 or 7 days, its a joke!

I agree with you, its hard to find good MUAs here. There are a few in london, but i don't think i'm prepared to travel to london everyday or stay in a hotel as i think I'll miss home too much.

I just came back from PK a few months ago, but didn't really think of doing course there. Someone did mention that the courses there go on for weeks if not months!

Have you managed to do a course or are you still looking?

Can u post her fb & YouTube links?

Re: Make-up courses!

nausheen, Im still looking to do a professional makeup course but still cant find what im lookin for :( i guess i might do it in pakistan and then in france, Maybe?

Re: Make-up courses!

There's z bridal studio in Bradford who have been holding courses for 3 years. I looked at their portfolio and the work is actually better than sadaf. 7 day course is for £1200 which also includes 2 days of shadowing sahida (owner of z bridals) on her live bookings. For another £450 she holds 4 days intense training on threading, facials and waxing. You become a part of their team after which helps you gain more experience afterwards. They help you build a portfolio too!

A friend of a friend got trained by z bridal and she says its well worth it and you learn a lot. You just need to practice a lot afterwards.

I'm not a big fan of these 7 day courses, but its the best one I have come across so far. Still unsure of where to get trained from, but if I cant find anyone better then I'm going to train with z bridals in September.

Go to the website and check out the real brides portfolio.

Good luck sweetie. xx

Re: Make-up courses!

Awww thank you nausheeeen....suger i just checked all the pics they have up on site, some looks nice and some looks ok to me but i can say their work got better than the last time i saw them...I agree with you their work is better than sadaf.
yesterday i was checking out the other trainer Noor-Zara and was thinking to show it to you aswell,i like some of her makeup but all the images she has up looks clearly photoshopped big time lol but still i like the one with gray smokey eyes really beautifull!

Re: Make-up courses!

I was having a look at noor-zara the other day, but she's based in Birmingham and I'm in west Yorkshire. The closest and best near me so far is z bridal studio. I don't think I have the will power to drive to Birmingham and back everyday lol.
