Although i too have got make up from her on and off, its good but she seems to be reaching the skies with her prices. From what i know:
Its like engagement/nikkah makeup: from 18 - 20 - 22 - 25k within a few months
Bridal makeup: 30 - 35 - 40 - 50k within a few months too.
She is doing a good job but some one who is relatively new in the business should be accomodating to the brides. She is very forceful of the price she wants and doesnt give discounts if some one wants it for her day. We all know that its signature makeup she says she does and does it herself as well but a price of 40k+ for one day is way too much for all of it.
omg is she that expencive? without the pre bridal services? its crazy!
I have to agree with Daffy here. Mariam sure is going out of range expensive! I dont think any sort of make up or dupatta setting can cost as much as 50,000; thats just way too much.
I was considering her for my shadi as well but when i talked to her the costs were flying over my head so i dropped the idea and getting another MUA booked instead.

well shanum, theres a price to pay for individual attention and quality in terms of the makeup products used ... i'm pleased to say i use makeup by MAC, bobbi brown, estee lauder, clinique, laura mercier etc. for my brides and all makeups, obviously my cost goes up doing so. so if i dont compromise on my bride's satisfaction then i also dont compromise on my charges.....its only fair enough...dont u think? :)
I got to see her work on style 360. Id say i was impressed but both the models were extreamly FAIR! and im too brown so dont know if she could deal my skin tone...what is included in the pre bridal service? Would you charge full package within 40k in december?
for all those girls who worry about their complexions being with dark or too fair...plz clear ur mind as ur complexion is NEVER an issue...its the kind of features u hv...i believe that makeup suits all faces PROVIDED it is done accordingly! besides when u go to a professional and pay them a hefty amount....its makeup artist's headache to deal with whatever difficult element there may b.
