I wud suggest a light-weight foundation and a foundation stick for full-coverage. Light-weight for everyday occasions and the stick for night-time.
In addition to that for new brides gold/silver/copper eye-shadows are a must..and then get sum of the basics such as emerald green, turquoise, neutral brown. And yeah black for dramatic-eyes =)
Buy a good mascara and a brown eye-liner (for the day) and a very black eye-liner (for the night)
Lip-liners (I love body shop lip-liners) one in a berry color, one in dark brown and one that matches u're lip-color =) Lipsticks 1.) rich plum/berry stain, 1.) chocolate brown 1.) a light nude beige
