Make up brushes- which brand?

I use MAC and have my MAC brushes for a number of years and I do look after them. I need a small smudge brush and a crease brush and have seen on youtube ,any ppl using Morphe brushes, they seem to be quite popular and prices seem great too. Anyone use the, ? I don’t like the goat hairs ones though eewwwwww lol
Which brand brushes do you rcommend i may need to buy 3/4 different ones.

I heard that sigma brushes are pretty good. I just ordered the flat top F80 brush for foundation And E25 blender brush. This is my first time using sigma so well see how they do. I've just started building my collection of brushes. I've also heard that morphe is good but I haven't used them.

I use the real technique ones which are amazing and cheaper than MAC and Sigma etc. However I only like the first collection they did, not a fan of their more expensive collection at all!

I tried both ecotools and real technique i find the ecotools brushes are softer.

Sigma and Real Techniques. I prefer them over my MAC ones.

After MAC I like Sigma quite a bit and use them as my go-to.

I have heard though that Coastal Scents is good.

I have not used RT or any other brand so cannot say but RT seems to be very popular.

Just a precaution.

Some of the above mentioned brands except MAC has boar bristle brushes, not all but some definitely are....So please check before buying.

^Aren't sigma and rt brushes made of synthetic fibres?

RT is defo synthetic, that's why they're so affordable.

Anyhow, i use MAC brushes for eye makeup and Real Techniques for face. Love them both. I can't wait to try RT's eye makeup brushes as well since i love their other ones so much.

I follow emilynoel83 on YT and she races avout Up and Up brand brushes from target as well as a few brushes from Elf. You may wanna check those out, too.

I use a mix, Mac, No7, real Techniques and Japonesque. Tried the elf ones and they're not bad, use them for eye makeup sometimes. Also Revlon do decent Mac brushes dupes, i have two which are pretty good.

Elf, real rechniuqies, janonesque etc. all seem to get good reviews. If you don't mind spending more $, MAC brushes are a great investment. Most of mine are MAC that I brought 8-10 years ago and they are still in great shape. I wash them with simple liquid hand soap on a regular basis and haven't had any issues with shape changing or shedding.

I am going to invest in a chikuhodo. Wish me luck. It's the cheapest one I could find but still...

Anyone heard of Artis brushes? Their oval 10 brush for face/body is almost everywhere, looks almost better than the NARS one

These are made of engineered fibres and no animals involved :k:

I use mainly RT brushes for my face but I've actually found a really good set of eye brushes on ebay which have the softest bristles and work good enough for me :)

I have Bobbi brown eye brushes, I do like them a lot.

Agree! That/hukahodo/Suqqu brushes are the best. Wayne Goss has done for himself as well for coming out with brushes are of similar quality.

For something that doesn't cost an arm and leg is the bdellium tool brushes. Even the crown brushes are okay too.

Mac brushes are the most over-rated.
