I am about to book Arsh from NewLook BeautyClinic for my wedding make-up. For two days. She is going to be in Canada in June. I live in Canada. I am getting married in California in July. So she will then fly to California for two days for my make-up. Now I need to know what I should be making sure before booking. Like payment and her showing up for the wedding and etc …etc … she in pakistan right now I spoke with her and her manager.
Any advise tips … or personal experience please feel free to share …thank you very much
she is really good I can just tell …she’s talented I love her work ..she’s coming to Toronto in June … So I will be getting a consultation before the wedding..I am so confident booking her..
well firstly, have her fax you a contract that outlines her services specifically and in detail and also the cost. make sure it mentions who is paying for her flight, arranging her accommodation, in toronto and in cali, etc.
send her an itinerary (even if it is an outline) of your wedding day- make sure she reads it and signs it and either brings it with her, or emails it back to you stating she has read it and agrees to it.
if you're giving her a deposit at the trial, mention that and the amount of the agreed-upon deposit. make sure the contract also mentions the trial, the day/date/time and her commitment to you to be there. same thing for the wedding. if she doesnt have a contract (because really, all of this is her department and she should be giving you a contract to sign), or if she refuses to sign one or agree to it, then you shouldn't deal with her. any professional anything should present you with a contract as a general rule.
