i watched it..it was real interestin but i dnt really agree with their approach..i mean they were sayin all the correct things but they were scarin the gowri off

I have been watching the programme. The approach towards islam for the goray is very strict - i mean Dawn (i think she is a revert) is stressing on the goray to do this and that. I feel like you can tell a non muslim how, what and why and let them decide what they want to do.
I am not sure if anyone watched the programme "The Retreat" - it was set in Spain. In that programme, they gave them the info and let them act on it - they were not imposing any strict rules...

That Phil guy is doing my head in...he just doesn't want to know! He's arrogant and disrespectful.
That Ash guy is doing good returning to his faith...he did he azaan in last night's show and wasn't it sweet the way his girlfriend was looking at him whilst he was doing it. On the other hand, Ash shoul dbe setting a better example and encouraging the others especially his girlfriend to give it better go. I mean when he was blatantly hugging his girlfriend whilst fasting in front of imam Momhammed is just giving the wrong signals to the majority of non mulims out there

we were watching it and i must have tusked like zillion times…
firstly they got ALL the extreme gore ones a drunk head and wont leave booz jus for the sake of sum religion in 2 weeks…ones a porno model and wants to be naked at all times how can u tell her to cover in few weeks?..ones dying for her relationship with her b/f,…
i mean HELLLLLOOOOO…u cud have chosen an educated gora whos ATLEAST in the middle and tried to knock sum sense into him instead uv got these extreme goras and ur going about it the wrong way…tellin them stories etc…
uv got to reason with them first WHY WHY WHY are we prohibited to the above things…

Isn't that often the problem.. we focus so much on this is ghunah and that is ghunaah what about the positive aspects like how much Allah loves His mankind - how lenient He is twrds those who really repent thier mistakes.

It was an interesting experiment. There was too much groaning, moaning and complaining and to think that these people had agreed to do this...!
The woman with Ash (muslim guy) lives in La la la land, she is totally arrogant and I couldn't understand why on earth why he was with her, she was obviously the dominant one in the relationship and had transformed him to her ways.
I liked Luke (gay guy), it was so surprising the way he had totally transformed himself, he was the only one who took the whole programme seriously along with the skin therapist woman.

It was entertainment more than religion. It was really funny when they were trying to find the gay guy a wife, lol. and the dude was walking around with a huge grin on his face with a pic, ‘marry him?’:biggthumb
The taxi driver was reaaly annoying and the girl who was with the muslim guy just kept crying. :DThen there was the lady who didnt want to cover up. The only ppl that took it seriuosly were the couple and the teacher and those were the two that they didnt even show:smack:
