an interesting bit of general knowledge type info.. san jose is not pronounced san josie, it is very common for people to do that, i myself have found myself saying san josie and then thinking of josie and the pussycats only to be told that its actually pronounced san hosay

caltech folks said that there might be bigger and smaller aftershocks after the 5.0 something trembler in LA. this was i believe close to the san andreas fault which runs up the state.

Not sure about "pretty gunahgaar", but if this is anywhere near the San Fernando valley, they have been "very gunahgaar" for a long time now.
